Charly's father is a demon, her mother a wandering whore - and she herself is looking for stability. "Salzwasser" tells the story of Charly, a 16-year-old emogirl. Her view of the world is different - some might say she's crazy. Since she was saved by Tim, she has been running after him. They were also a couple for a short time, until Tim found out that Charly sleeps with other men for money. Now there is only Sven, her band colleague, who stands by her and is her only support. But Sven feels taken advantage of. It comes to an argument and the expulsion from the band. Charly is alone.
